The antibody is attached to the radioisotope Yttrium-90, which irradiates and destroys the cells bound by the antibody and those in close proximity. Targets MUC1 that expressed by several types of secretory epithelial-derived cancers.
Directed against the specific antigenic epitope PDTR sequence in the MUC1 tandem repeat.
