MUC1 other
MUC1 is a glycoprotein overexpressed in breast and other carcinomas. When monoclonal antibody HuHMFG1 (sontuzumab) binds MUC1, it stimulates antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) against tumor cells expressing MUC1, resulting in a decrease in tumor burden.
