Mechanism of action

  • AR modulator

    Selective androgen receptor inhibitor and down-regulator (SARD). AZD3514 binds to AR, inhibits its nuclear translocation, ligand-dependent and independent transcriptional activity and is able to induce AR down-regulation in vitro and in vivo. .Discontinued, safety/efficacy reasons.
