Loss of the MAXILLA bone mass and/or height due to natural edentulous maxilla (JAW, EDENTULOUS) or previous dental extractions. It may require a reconstruction via BONE TRANSPLANTATION and/or ALVEOLOPLASTY prior to a DENTAL IMPLANTATION.
