Cytoplasmic Ribonucleoprotein Granules

Non-membranous subcompartments containing RIBONUCLEOPROTEIN complexes. They are found in the CYTOPLASM and often share multiple protein and/or RNA components. Membraneless RNP subcompartments found in the nucleus are referred to as nuclear bodies (e.g., PARASPECKLES).
