Inhibits viral DNA synthesis by inhibiting UL97 protein kinase activity. More specifically, it inhibits UL97¿s mediated phosphorylation of nuclear Lamin A/C.
Serine/threonine-protein kinase BGLF4 inhibitor
Inhibits the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) protein kinase (BGLF4), resulting in inhibition of phosphorylation of the EBV DNA processivity factor BMRF1.
