Humanized IgG1 mAb that specifically recognizes BDCA2 expressed exclusively on the surface ofplasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs). BIIB059 binding triggers BDCA2 internalization and potently inhibits TLR7/9-induced Type I IFN and other cytokines produced by pDCs
